Empowering Impact Makers

Malaysia is home to many impact makers who are working hard to overcome economic, environmental and social challenges in our homeland. An impact maker includes civil society organisations, social entrepreneurs, and even marginalised individuals who are working to build better lives.

The Good Shop is an impact aggregator platform, operated by SROI Sdn. Bhd., that sells products from impact makers in order to support them achieve greater self-sustainability using the offline and online retail sphere. Its all-inclusive policy allows impact makers championing a diverse set of social, environmental and other causes to be represented.

Doing Good with TGS

Co-founded by two women entrepreneurs in 2015 TGS; operated by SROI Sdn. Bhd., acts as the marketplace for social enterprises by buying from special communities, eco-champions and artisans (a.k.a. Impact Makers), allowing more people to give opportunities to help and support them to achieve greater self-sustainability using the offline and online retail sphere. This widens the reach and horizons of the Impact Makers, previously disconnected or having limited reach to the wider consumer world. TGS’ all-inclusive policy allows impact makers championing a diverse set of social, environmental and other causes to be represented.

The Good Shop made its debut as has operated as a pop-up in several malls around the Klang Valley and has generated close to half a million ringgit in revenue for its impact makers through its retail sales, and reached participants using multiple events including workshops, competitions, and wellness activities.
